The 'Templo del Sol' in the outskirts of Pisaq
Sunday I went off to Pisaq with one of my new friends, Louise (also a volunteer at Cooperar Perú).
The town is in the Sacret Valley, and one of the first from Cusco to Machu Pichu exhibiting the Inca ruins. Arriving with Colectivo for s/5, it only took us an hour on the car, and another hour or so to climb to the top.
Be aware, if you decide to visit, the cost for the entry is s/130 to see 7+ sites in 10 days or s/70 to see 4 sites in the Sacret Vally in 2 days.
Definitely an amazing place to visit, and an even better first experience of Inca trails/towns.
A few pictures are to come, for now, here's the video of the trek. Enjoy!
